Eric Valliere, Executive Director
Before joining the Nashua Symphony Association as Executive Director in 2005, Eric served for several years as Executive Director of Volti (a professional chamber choir in San Francisco), as Director of Noe Valley Chamber Music, and Managing Director of the San Francisco Conservatory’s BluePrint Project. He has been a frequent contributor (as classical music critic) to andante.com and the SF Classical Voice, and he’s written for classicstoday.com and San Francisco Magazine. Eric holds a degree in Drama from Tufts University, as well as a bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree from the New England Conservatory, where he studied composition. He currently serves as Vice-President of the New England Orchestra Consortium, and is on the board of the Bubs Foundation, which introduces high school students to a cappella singing.

Nick Adams, Director of Operations
Nick Adams, originally from Anderson, SC, has been the Director of Operations for the Nashua Symphony Association since September 2007.  Prior to that appointment, he served as principal trombonist and operations coordinator with the United States Air Force Heartland of America Band (Omaha, NE).  While there, he performed in over 300 concerts across a seven state region, and in 2006, he was named the unit's Outstanding Airman of the Year.  An active performer, Nick currently serves as the principal trombonist for the Massachusetts Air National Guard Band of the Northeast.  He also was named the organist at Evangelical Baptist Church in Newton, MA in the fall of 2008. 

 

Nick holds a Bachelor of Music Degree, magna cum laude, in Music Education from the Honors College of the University of South Carolina.  He went on to receive an M.M. in Trombone Performance from the Mannes College of Music (NYC) in 2004. 

   

Married with one daughter, Nick enjoys reading, cooking, and golfing in his spare time. 

Jessica Brown, Community Engagement Coordinator
Jessica Brown is a native of Ohio who graduated from the University of Toledo in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art.  While at the university, Jessica was a printmaking studio assistant, played in the Rocket pep band, and became an active member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority where she held executive positions for four consecutive terms.  Jessica treasured her time as an Alpha Xi Delta, which eventually led to the introduction to her husband, Barrett Brown.

 

Jessica is now a permanent resident of New England and works as the Community Engagement Coordinator for the Nashua Symphony Association.  She also serves as the secretary on the Launching Pad Childcare Center, FECCN Board of Directors. In 2007, Jessica welcomed her daughter into the world.  She loves being a working mom, and in her brief glimpses of free time she enjoys drawing, quilting, knitting, playing softball and the occasional game of tennis.
