Nashua Youth (h)EARS

The 2008 | 09 Season inaugurated a new educational outreach program created jointly by the NSA and Nashua School District. Nashua Youth (h)EARS aims to connect classical music to students' everyday lives by showing ways in which it relates to their school curriculum in the areas of Language Arts, Mathematics, and Social Studies. Teachers help prepare students for the musical presentations, and those presentations in turn help prepare students for the full NSO concert they'll hear at Keefe Auditorium each spring.

Students (h)EAR Coriolan.

This year's program focused on Beethoven, in preparation for the NSO's All-Beethoven program in April, 2009. Feedback from students and teachers was extremely positive and we are eager to repeat this program this year.
